Welcome to The Knit Addiction

The Knit Addiction is the place to get your fiber fix. Located in the heart of Old Town Clovis, we have everything you need for your next project. Whether you knit, crochet or spin, we have something to feed your need for yarn. Take a look at our calendar to see everything we have going on.

Our historic building dates back the the 1940's, and our shop has been a bakery, a real estate office and a boutique. Now it houses our great selection of yarn, spinning fiber and all the things you need to create.  We have a Knitter's Lounge for those times you just need to sit and knit, and a classroom for learning new techniques. We're happy to be located right in the middle of Old Town, on Pollasky Avenue between Fourth and Fifth Streets. You can visit us during Clovis Farmer's Market, Big Hat Days or ClovisFest.

We have some great things coming up in June!

On Saturday evening, June 1 from 6 - 8 p.m. we'll be hosting a trunk show from Kira K Designs.  Kira Dulaney is joining us for that weekend to teach a workshop on fitting and finishing, and she's bringing all her patterns and model garments with her.  Join us for this special evening.  You can meet Kira and see her lovely designs in person.  We'll have a casual fashion show, light refreshments, music and fun.  Have you already  made one of Kira's fun designs?  Wear it to the show and you get a prize! There's no cost for this great event, but we're asking everyone who attends to bring a donation for the Fresno County 4H All-Stars HandS Project.  They'll be taking gift bags to patients at Children's Hospital Central California at the end of the month and they need small things to help fill them.  School supplies, inexpensive jewelry, small toys and craft supplies are perfect.  All donations should be new and unopened.  Hope we see you there!

Saturday, June 8 we'll hold our third annual World Wide Knit in Public Day celebration.  Join us from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and show the world the great things you do.  We'll once again fill the sidewalk with knitters (and crocheters and spinners).  Bring a chair, your project, and your sense of humor.  We have shady spots, water and yarn.  What more do you need?  How about prizes!  Keep an eye on your email box  or check our blog for more details.

Join us on Wednesday nights from 6-8 p.m. for Knitter's Anonymous, our weekly knitting social night. Bring your current project, your spinning wheel and your sense of fun. We'll visit, create and have a great time.
